Bet 2

This week I’ve gone for Plymouth at home to my team Oldham. The price is a little on the short side compared to other Bookmakers, but it doesn’t matter to much at these early stages.

Back to bet 1 & a rethink

Image
This weeks Banker bet is Woking to beat Barrow. We lost last week so we are back to £5 The odds we got where 2.20 With Spurs losing at home in the last bet to bust the challenge, I’ve decided it’s actually best if there is no minimum or maximum odds I can choose. There will still be a lot of very short prices included but there will also be some odds above the maximum. It just goes to show that even very short prices can lose just as easy. The rules remain the same in regards the amount of funds I can put on one bet after I reach the first threshold. Now let’s do this!

Bet 4

Image
We are now up to Bet 4 and at odds of 1.22 it’s looking pretty good thus far. But that’s what you expect when you bet the big teams and this next one is no different. It’s worth pointing out that today Real Madrid where best priced @ 1.18 to beat a lowly new promotion side. Madrid scores and it remained 1-0 to Real up until the 88th minute when the away side scored to make it 1-1. Madrid could not get the winner and it ended 1-1. So it’s worth noting, even at these short prices, it pays to do your homework. I did and I know Madrid are not firing on all cylinders, so I left it alone. So tomorrow I do like the look of Spurs and I’ve backed them to beat a poor Newcastle side that sold two very good players and signed just one. I predicted that Newcastle will be relegated this season and so far it looks like that. I wish them well, but not tomorrow....... The bets on!

Bet 3

Image
I have been a bit pushed for time, but thankfully I had the sense to take a screenshot of Bet 3. It involved the German runners up in the Bundesliga last season and they went in at Half Time 1-1 v a newly promoted side and the odds where 1.14 so well within our range. They went on to win comfortably in the end.

Spurs do the business

Image
But boy they had to work for it. Villa scored first and I thought to myself, see I told you so. But Spurs came back with 3 quite late goals to win 3-1. The Bankroll is now up to £14.06. I was going to back PSV at home with PSV going in at HT with the score 1-1. But after checking the odds on Bet 365 PSV were 1.25. I check Paddy Power and it’s just 1.14. That’s nearly half and the risk reward doesn’t make it a good choice, so I left it. PSG play later but the odds are below the minimum 1.10 for me to back it.

Bet 2

Image
With Liverpool winning very easily in the first Premier League Game of the new season, the total Bankroll now stands at £11.25. I checked all the prices in the U.K. fixtures for another punt, but the only game within those odds is Tottenham v Aston Villa with Spurs to win @ 1.25. Despite it being 1/4 on, I’m not 100% confident in my choice. But it’s still only bet 2 so that’s why I’ve gone for it. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Spurs didn’t win this match. It’s the first game of the season, Villa have spent a lot of cash on practically a new team and the weather will play a part with up to 60 mph winds. If my Bankroll was in to 3 figures, I would not of chosen this game. Anyway, it’s on.
